Fall.
It's fall! A season we don't typically get to very excited about until now. It seems Nathan and i both come down with the fall allergies really bad this time of year. But now that it's cold, i suppose whatever fall thing we are allergic to must have died. So now we celebrate! We start breaking out the pumpkins, etc. i believe this weekend we will do our annual carving; a tradition started back in the ol' dating days for me and nate! Possibly our first year, my memory isn't quite what it used to be. Thus, i have already began to document Rori Kate's first fall with pictures! Can't forget it when there's proof. So..... I am just going to put one on for now and will come back later and do some more, I won't forget : ) Okay, maybe two!

that's life.
i had already decided i was going to set this all up today. My mind had been made up. And if it wasn't for my stubbornness to do something i have already made my mind up about, you would not be reading this. i was leaving the parking lot of work with plans in my head to get home and work on the computer for a little while before having to take Nate back into Tulsa. Why was I taking Nate into Tulsa tonight, you ask. We'll because he has been needing to take the blazer, (the vehicle we rarely use) into Jack's shop for some work. Anyway, I am thinking about my nice peaceful evening and my car starts making a strange noise immediatly upon leaving the parking lot. This is followed by suddenly loosing the ability to turn the wheel. All to find out that apparently a belt is broken, don't ask which one because my knowledge of things found under a car hood is about as broad as my knowledge of backgammon. (I have always wondered what the game of backgammon entails; I mean what do you even need to play backgammon, does it require a helmet or is more of a sit at a table kind of game? i should look it up.) Anyway long story short- 3 cars sit in our driveway on a day to day basis, one of them not belonging to us, just used for nate's work. And 2, yes 2 of them do not currently work. wow! That's Life, isn't it! But I will choose to be joyful, choose to rejoice that i can afford to fix whatever is wrong with it,(i hope). And to rejoice that we even have 3 cars that reside in our driveway on a day to day basis that have the ability to break in the first place. I will choose to REJOICE that my sister was still downtown about the time I was trying to leave. (THANK YOU SISTER!!) I shall not be ungrateful, sometimes things happen, i think, just so you will look up and say "That's Life", but i choose to be happy anyway. So i will.
